IBZ is privileged to offer the services of a talented Arabic linguist. IBZ principal, Barhoum Khoury, is a professional, native Arabic language expert and published English/Arabic author with a long successful history providing Arabic translation/adaptation, editing and localization service to and from English. Among his achievements are:prepared complex contracts and documents in both English and Arabic for  International Fortune 500 companies.including: AGFA, Selex, Canon, Konica, 3M, Lanier, OCE, UNISYS as well as Buick, GMC and Isuzu. He wrote & edited a monthly column for a Lebanese Real Estate magazine, researched and authored an English / Arabic Encyclopedia of Business, Trade, and Computer terms, and Translated children’s books from English to Arabic to produce e‐books for Al Alamiah Co. in Kuwait—internationally recognized for Arabization of computer software and applications.

 

An American citizen who lived and worked a large part of his life in the Middle East, Mr. Khoury traveled, worked and resided  in several different areas including Egypt, Qatar, UAE (Dubai/Sharjah/AbuDhabi), Syria, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Lebanon, Iraq, Cyprus, England, Germany, Greece, France and the Netherlands.

The scope of his experiences offer the added value of in-depth knowledge of the regions, culture, and governments throughout the Middle East.

 

We are also pleased to announce the addition of an experienced Spanish-language consultant.She brings knowledge and cultural competency experience  planning, developing, producing, delivering and executing materials and strategic communications and translation (adaptation) capabilities to reach Spanish-speaking audiences. Among the clients she has provided translation services for are:  NIH Clinical Center, NHTSA, HRSA, SAMHSA, FHWA, National Cancer Institute, Provident Bank, NIA, EPA, DHMH and CMS. In addition, she has provided outreach assistance to CDC, NHTSA, HRSA, CMS and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
