A proficient researcher, she conducted and presented an extensive secondary research study for the National Institute of Mental Health, a large-scale intercept interview project for the National Capital Region, and led partner and Health Information Technology leader identification for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
With a track record of successful project and events management, proposal management/writing, as well as internal/external communications, Gayle collaborates with clients to achieve successful outcomes with an optimal ROI. She has developed long and short term strategic communications plans for such organizations and agencies as CMS, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Catholic Health Buffalo, Georgetown University Medical Center and Villa Maria College.
A former advanced placement writing instructor, she works in tandem with Marcy Fisher (below) to develop/manage on-target proposals and new business presentations to secure government and private industry contracts for large and small businesses. Writer/Web site Developer/Proposal Manager
A multi-talented writer, Marcy’s work has been published in print and online trade publications. In her previous role with several software technology companies, she juggled many responsibilities, including writing proposals, web content, print and electronic marketing and publications materials, instructor-led training guides, and e-learning applications for a wide range of clients, newsletters and client correspondence. She delivered presentations and assisted clients in choosing the best software products to meet their short and long term needs. From comprehensive project plans to PowerPoint presentations, Marcy is adept at developing clear and concise written materials.
She is also active in capture planning and proposal management for marketing communications and labor-related services companies and other small businesses, helping to secure national, state and local government and private industry contracts.
In addition to creating web content, Marcy has worked as a project manager guiding the development of several websites,, identifying and implementing graphic content, and consulting on design and maintenance alternatives. She brings a talent for grasping ideas and information and translating it into effective content. She is also an experienced content manager, knowledgeable in the use of several content management systems including WordPress, Joomla, and Ektron CMS.
Creative Design and Development
Colleen has more than 20 years of experience in providing creative direction, graphic design, marketing, and visual communications services for a variety of well-reputed institutions, non-profits and corporations. Ms. Doyle holds a BFA in Visual Communications from MICA, and has a background in illustration, journalism, copy writing in marketing applications, and teaching visual communications at the college level. Prior to starting Doyle Communications in 1997, Ms. Doyle held positions as Senior Designer and Art Director with a variety of well-known agencies such as Barton Matheson Willse and Worthington (BMWW), Bruce Presentations, Technical Resources Inc. (TRI), Art Graphic Design and Image Designers.
Ms. Doyle has held positions as an Adjunct Professor for more than 15 years, teaching visual communications, computer graphics and graphic design courses at several reputable institutions including Maryland Institute College of Art, University of Baltimore and Anne Arundel Community College. Ms. Doyle was the original Marketing Chair of the Downtown Baltimore Family Alliance. Currently, Ms. Doyle also works as Creative Lead for TMNcorp in Silver Spring.
An award-winning documentary filmmaker, Jim has overseen the production of hundreds of diversified programs – for business, government and broadcasters – many of them in the area of health and wellness. Jim founded Associated Producers, Inc. -API- in 1986 to produce socially responsible programming to enhance our quality of life, and to provide clients with effective, high quality film and video programs to assist them in their marketing, fundraising, training and communications efforts. Since then, API has produced quality programs for broadcasters, Fortune 500 companies, national associations and non-profit organizations.

Luz Angela Cortes
Bilingual Outreach/Spanish Translator-Editor
Ms. Cortes has more than 10 years of experience managing, coordinating, and executing database management, media outreach, translations, publications/materials development, and fulfillment for multicultural communities and organizations across the country.
She is cognized English-Spanish-English translator/editor, having managed the development and translation/adaptation of consumer education materials and supported the production of Spanish materials including testing to ensure cultural and linguistic competence for the intended audience. Federal clients include the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the National Institute on Aging, and the National Institutes for Health Clinical Center.
Luz is a proficient research assistance, managing responsibility for identifying, recruiting, and screening of participants who take part in studies such as interviews, intercepts, surveys and focus groups. She has ample experience securing and managing focus group facilities, having worked with facilities across the country for research projects with several clients, including the AAA Foundation, the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services ,Department of Energy, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and Health Resources and Services Administration.
Allison Hyra, Ph.D.
Dr. Allison Hyra is a skilled research and evaluation consultant with more than 10 years of experience. She specializes in logic modeling, performance measurement, implementation evaluation and outcome evaluation. Dr. Hyra also performs literature reviews and syntheses, primary and secondary data analysis and presents findings in various oral and written formats. She excels in translating and distilling complex research and evaluation findings into actionable information for a variety of lay audiences. Dr. Hyra designs and implements cost-effective evaluations that meet the specific information needs of her clients and their funders.
Her clients include large, for-profit businesses, membership organizations and non-profit human service providers. Previous to becoming an independent consultant, Dr. Hyra was a Senior Manager at the Lewin Group and a Society for Research in Child Development fellow at the Administration for Children and Families. Healthcare Management/Electronic Health Records
With more than 10 years of professional experience in the health care industry, Godfrey holds a degree in Health Services Management and is nearing completion of a Master’s in Health Informatics. He is both knowledgeable and passionate about the implementation and use of Electronic Health Records (EHR) and the greater quality healthcare delivery they promise for consumers. As a Clinical Applications Analyst, Godfrey has participated in the implementation of various electronic medical records systems. In this role he was able to strengthen the relationship between the clinical and IT teams, gaining respect with fellow staff and team members.
He offers clients assistance as they move towards acquiring and implementing EHR for their practices by gathering and documenting systems requirements, and serving as a liaison between clinical/business stakeholders and the systems developers. He assesses the client’s EHR needs and then communicates these need’s to the EHR providers under consideration so as to facilitate the best match. Godfrey’s strong support of EHR, affiliation with the Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS), demonstrated discretion in handling confidential information, and effective time management skills make him a desirable “partner” for new EHR clients inside the healthcare industry weighing their choices, or those using EHR, but in need of an evaluation process to ensure the “right fit,” and assistance mastering its application within the unique clinical setting.
